The only recommended way to clean your Stündenglass is with water and isopropyl alcohol. Gently swab the inner and outer parts of the device using a soft cloth soaked with isopropyl alcohol. Do not use any abrasive cloths or cleaning agents other than isopropyl, soap and water, as this may cause permanent damage to the anodized and painted finishes, and must be avoided.

Only the glass globes are dishwasher safe. Do not place any other parts of the Stündenglass in a dishwasher.

Quick Clean: Remove the top globe. Rotate the unit to empty out all water. Fill with ½-1 inch of isopropyl alcohol. Thread top globe back on the device. Rotate the unit numerous times until clean. Remove top globe, drain alcohol and rinse with clean water. Remove the magnetic bowl intake adapter end cap and then the rubber plug to clean inside the valve. Removing and disassembly of the upstems may also be necessary for optimal use.
